What makes this an AI social media scraper?
The scrape part is standard: comments and replies from the page you have open. The AI part is the export: a pre-written prompt asking for themes, sentiment, disagreements, and actionable takeaways, with the full thread pasted in.
You choose the LLM. Paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or a local model. Social Scraper+ does not run inference or charge per token.
The Insights tab also shows top word frequencies before you export, useful for a quick gut check.
Workflow: scrape, then analyze
Open a Reddit thread or X post. Scrape with Social Scraper+. Skim the Insights tab if you want a word cloud vibe without AI.
Click the AI export button. The prompt and thread land on your clipboard. Paste into your assistant of choice.
Tweak the prompt if you need a specific output: executive summary, feature request list, competitor mention tally.
AI agent vs clipboard export
Some tools market an "AI agent to scrape social media" that crawls autonomously. That is a different product category: scheduled bots, not "I am reading this thread right now."
Social Scraper+ is manual and on-page. You pick the thread, you review the preview, you decide what gets pasted into AI. Better for research quality, less exciting for growth hackers who want a cron job.

Privacy before you paste
Reddit usernames and quotes can identify people. Do not upload confidential threads to cloud AI if your policy forbids it.
Scraping stays local in your browser. Only the paste step sends data to a third-party LLM, and only if you choose to.
