How to Scrape X Post Replies to CSV

X posts often accumulate dozens of replies with engagement metrics that disappear when you scroll past. Exporting replies to CSV gives you a searchable file for research, competitive analysis, or archiving a conversation.

Open the X post you want to export

Navigate to any public X post at x.com or twitter.com (a /status/ URL). Social Scraper+ reads the page you have open. It does not require X API keys or a developer account.

Let the page finish loading replies before scraping. Scroll down first if you need replies that load lazily.

Scrape with Social Scraper+

Open the Social Scraper+ side panel from the Chrome toolbar, confirm the status pill shows X post detected, and click Scrape Replies.

Review the preview in the panel. Toggle X-specific fields in Settings: handle, engagement (likes, reposts, reply count), scores, and metadata.

Download CSV

Click the CSV button in the export bar. The file downloads with an x- prefix and the post title in the filename.

Open the CSV in Excel, Google Sheets, or any data tool. Each row is typically one reply with columns for author, handle, body, score, and permalink when metadata is enabled.
